Museum Kids Club: Black Love Family Day w/ Culture Queen
Time & Location
About the Event
Families are invited to come celebrate Black Love Day, the 3rd nationally commemorated African American holiday founded by Ayo Handi-Kendi in 1993. Education Fellow-In-Residence, Jessica “Culture Queen” Hebron will lead participants in exploring this special holiday with fun activities to cultivate love for themselves, their families and their culture through a heartwarming storytime, hands-on crafts and family bonding. The program will culminate with a Black Love Dance-A-Thon featuring family-friendly tunes to encourage healthy hearts within our communities.
